Official PDPA Partner – Specialist Support for Dartitis

At Eccleston Park Hypnotherapy, we specialise in helping darts players overcome dartitis using a structured, solution-focused approach designed specifically for performance sport.

I am proud to be an official partner of the Professional Darts Players Association (PDPA), working directly with professional tour players who require discreet, effective, and performance-driven support.

Over the years, I have helped over 100 players completely eliminate dartitis, including major names such as Kevin Painter and Nathan Aspinall.

A Proven, Performance-Based Approach

Dartitis is not a technical flaw — it is a neurological interruption caused by pressure, overthinking, and learned tension patterns. Simply changing grip or mechanics rarely resolves the root cause.

My approach focuses on:

  • Reprogramming the subconscious response to pressure
  • Removing anticipatory anxiety during the throw
  • Restoring natural rhythm and automatic execution
  • Rebuilding confidence under competitive conditions

Players often notice improvement quickly, but full elimination requires structured reinforcement to ensure the old pattern does not return.

Official PDPA Tour Player Rates

As part of our partnership with the PDPA, tour players are offered discretionary discounted rates.

These discounted rates are available provided agreed terms and conditions are adhered to, including:

  • No breaks between scheduled sessions
  • Payment made in advance for the agreed session block
  • Commitment to completing the recommended programme

This structure ensures continuity, which is critical for permanent change.

If sessions are interrupted or payment terms are not met, the standard session rate applies.

Why Consistency Matters

Dartitis develops through repetition under pressure. Eliminating it requires the same level of structured repetition — but in the right direction.

While many players feel significant improvement within the first four sessions, stopping too early can allow the old pattern to resurface during competition.

By committing to a continuous programme, players are able to:

  • Throw instinctively again
  • Compete without hesitation
  • Trust their action under pressure
  • Perform consistently on tour

If you are a PDPA member seeking support, or a player at any level struggling with dartitis, contact Eccleston Park Hypnotherapy for a confidential discussion.
